Joining

Just as one must learn how to create a spark before one can use electricity to enchant, or how to shard before one can resurrect, one must truly understand the fundamentals of Magic before one becomes Magi. The process requires much time and patience.

Who can join ?

Any and all applicants are welcome. Anyone desiring to explore magics potential, or learn how to either prepare themselves with magic or to better prepare against magic. From the wizards and warlocks who use magic in their daily lives. The warrior who has to learn that magic influences his outcome in battle with the aid of offensive magic to better deal the fatal blow, to the protective magic that heals his battle scars. The druids and shaman who find magic in all things existance and want to learn better how to communicate with the magic of nature.

What do you need to know ?

We ask that you explore other temples than just ours. We ask that you feel comfortable with your choice and informed of all your options.

Read up on our temple, by carefully examining the charter and our scrolls. Ask questions of other magi.

Know why and for what purpose to you seek to join the magi.

OK I've done my research, now how do I join ?

Interview: Seek out a member of the magi. Please do not shout for though - tis impolite. Check this message board for names of magi or ask around. You need to be interviewed by someone of Seeker or above rank. Be ready for the possibility of having more than one person sit in on your interview. Be ready to answer questions as to why you want to join.

Temple Education:
After passing your interview, the interviewer will either agree to mentor you, or one will be assigned by a leader. Occasionally, we have an experienced mentor, with a mentor in training, work with new students of magic. You will be required to study our tenets, and hierarchy.

Quest Interview: When your mentor believes you are ready, you will be taken before a Priest or Leader for a quest interview. If the priest is satisfied with your learning, they will assign you an entrance quest.

Initiation:
After the successful completion of the entrance quest, your mentor/sponsor will take you before the Prophet, Hierarch or a temple Minister. Be ready for questions once more on the temple. After the initiation, you are now a member of the magi. During the next two weeks you are asked to review the three paths in further detail with your mentor, sponsor or a priest, and to learn the Balance of Magics.

Official Ceremony: After a period of no less than a couple of seasons, you will need attend a temple ceremony where upon you will be fully welcomed into the temple as a novice of the magi.
